Resetting the Meter on a Toshiba MFP

  1. Enter HS Mode

  2. Hit “73”, this could be either “Firmware Assist” mode, or

    “Storage Assist”.

  3. Format HDD, reboot into HS.

  4. Format Root Partition, reboot into HS.

  5. Clear SRAM, reboot into HS.

  6. Update Firmware to most recent version.

  7. *Machine may boot into wrench light error

  8. Boot into FS mode. Go to 08 Classic.

  9. Select “1. NAD” and Initialize SRAM.

  10. Enter 08-9601, input copier’s serial number in place of “CT”.

  11. Enter 08-9083, initialize NIC information, reboot into

    normal mode.

  12. Verify that the counter is now “0”.

  13. Verify that the serial number is correct.

  14. Go through initial copier setup steps.

  15. Place new AF ID sticker onto machine.
